These are long term symptoms which indicate a final stage of the disease, and the few asbestos symptoms that can be caught early on are not distinguishable enough. This makes this a very dangerous material to be around, hence the ban. If caught early, you are highly recommended to go to a doctor and decrease the exposure to asbestos as much as possible. The doctor may even be able to save your life by making you avoid serious diseases like the one mentioned in this article.
